Hi,
I am attempting to fabricate one of the cordless drill adaptors for my 6" lazer auger. My auger is not one of the newer ones with the adjustable length handles, It has a threaded stud welded to the top of the auger section and a threaded receiver in the end of the handle. It appears to be about 9/16th standard thread...Does anyone know what size the stud threads are? Sure would be nice if I could get this info for the guy who is gonna fab the adaptor for me.
Thanks,
Mike

take it to Home Depot and find a nut that fits it, I do that with just about anything portable as I have absolulty no gift for eyeballing that kind of thing ;)

I believe that it is a meteric thread. I made 1 but mine slips over the end of the auger section and is pinned. Had to drill a 1/4" hole in it but didn't hurt it.
