Okay, so new trailer needs a backup detection to activate servo:confused: - got a standard four flat tee in now, only four wires to tail ights, four from feed up front - '94 GMC

Where can I get a signal wire (blue on new connector), do I need to run a line from under dash:help:

I did find a "yellow feed - brake activated" wire in the loom - does anyone know if I can switch this under the dash - that would keep all the wires in the same loom?

Just steel a feed from the back up light wire behind the taillight...Usually a light green color on GM....Other option is to install a 7 wire round connector...

Thought about that - only four wires there, so have to measure with meter when I get back. Should be easy to 'tee' into and run along back of frame under box.
