Hi all, got a question. A co-worker of mine is quite the warm weather fisherman. Goes out 2-3 times a week in the summer for pan fish. Got talking to him friday night and got him to try ice fishing. He has never been on a frozen lake. Thought we would try 4 mile near Chelsea, on Wednesday the 18th in the morning, it is about half way between us.
Problem is I fish Jackson County and no nothing about 4-mile. Can someone help me out? Need to know where to park and maybe some idea where to fish. Looking mostly for gils. Have a lake map and GPS to help me.

Thanks for your help, enjoy reading the icefishing forum.

There is a DNR launch site on the lake. You can get on there.

From the launch you kinda go out to the right a bit. As soon as you get to the deeper water, start pounding holes. I always found the Gills right along the drop off.

Good luck!
