THIS IS NOT A SIGN UP THREAD!!!
Well it's getting on toward that magical time of year again and the inquirees are starting to hit my pm box so I'll get out in front of this a little early.
Last years contest was a delight to administer and I believe that participation was at a record level (232). New friendships were forged and everyone conducted themselves in an honorable manner (even perchaman). I expect the same again this year.
I will open the "sign up" thread on August 15th and close it at midnight on September 6th. This will allow me to designate the teams in a fair and equitable manner.
Anyone that signs up after the deadline will be added to the contest at the administrator's discretion based on availability. Those late comers will also be at the administrators mercy for team names!
A couple of changes to this years contest:
1) Last year's CHAMPIONS will defend, everyone else will be placed on a team in a "scientific" manner:lol:.

2) ANY ONE wishing to participate in the contest MUST HAVE AT LEAST 30 posts on this site at the time of the sign up!!! This is fair warning and will hopefully weed out some of the contestents that failed to contribute to their respective team threads.
3) I'm also considering something that our bretheren in Ohio do in their contest and that's bonus points if a team takes a youth out and video/photo documents the hunt with a blow by blow account of the event. It would be limited to one (event) per team and would be worth an extra 5 pts. Thoughts?
