Just rolled out of bed. Moved the blind last evening (still didn't see anything), but now set up looking down the trail that runs between the swamp and woods... can't get much deeper and actually find a place where you can see more than 5 feet.

Just got sat in for the final weekend till we close up camp here in mason county! Only got one tag left so hopefully my target buck walks by me and I can call it a year! Good luck everyone!

My 8 yr old son and I are in the blind and waiting patiently for daylight. This is the 6th straight day he has come out hunting including 3 all day sits this week. We won’t be sitting all day today, but we likely will tomorrow if we don’t fill his buck tag today.

Yesterday was really slow around here...we didn’t see any deer and my dad only saw a glimpse of one. Hoping it gets better today and the rest of the weekend. Cameras show a few shooter bucks are still around so we are remaining optimistic.

My wife and Dad are also out this morning.

Day 6.... back at the big property. The wind isn't howling for once. Took the gf. Not sure who is filing a tag first. Put some buck sent stick on a bush next to a rub. Must have pissed that buck off cause he rubbed the snot out of that Bush 2 nights ago
