Still windy but not as bad as yesterday afternoon, no rain, and much colder! 5 hunters in camp heading out soon. Haven’t had power at the cabin since 6 pm last night and won’t have it all day it seems...guess it’s another all day hunt unless we shoot one! Thankful we have a generator up here!

In the blind the winds still ripping pretty good but at least there’s no rain. Only saw a couple small bucks yesterday. Hoping today’s the day. Good luck everyone!

Good luck and have fun. I lucked out this year with two eight points. I have a doe permit and it would be great to hunt today with snow on the ground in Mecosta county. The DNR says I should shoot at least one doe but I feel the buck to doe ratio is good around here. About 5 bucks to 7 does, besides the wife says we have plenty of venison.
