    Older Model 37 is to the left. Note the difference in butt plates. The older gun has the round Winchester trademark.

    Near the breech on the older gun there is "2 3/4" tooled into the barrel. On the newr gun it reads "2 3/4 CHAM"

    On the newer model 37 it does not indicate that it is a full choke. It just has "Choke" tooled into the barrel a little further out of this shot.
