    Ended up with 50# on main reel and 30# on all others. 17,20,25,30# leaders in vest to choose from.

    I always run 15 lb mono br or siglon with 12lb leader of sts works for me

    Kings aren’t line shy, really 17-20# is my go to. Never have issues getting bites because of line size.

    Frickin steelhead in the spring were toads, at least on Westside, ran 10 and 12 # leaders and hooked plenty. I landed 26# king on 8# maxima years ago it ties my other pb that was landed on 20# leader. Definitely can land em on 12 but rather run a more stout set up lol

    I got sent the wrong rod lol. They sent a 6’0 m avid. Pretty crappy was thinking about going up too. Hope it gets resolved.
