    I used to raise deer.
Yes...deer are not cattle but even cattle have their issue and diseases.

So, Yes would support it and explain why.

If the MDARD cannot Stop Cattle from Being Move and have bTB, how will they Stop the Spread of CWD? One would think that the MDARD would Test and quarantine Cattle and Be sure they don't have bTB and yet Cattle are Continue to be Move and learn after they have, have this Disease. I would think they would be More Proactive and Yet They ARE NOT. And That is with Cattle that can be tested easier, so how would they truly Test Deer. After 5 Farms you would Think they would start Shutting these Deer Farms Down across the State. But If it has not Happen by Now It will be a Long Wait for them to Start and Get It done... As the deer in Newaygo is only maybe 10 Miles from my property that is Concerning as there has yet to be any Free Ranging Deer to Test Positive in Newaygo County but that appears to soon Change as more opportunity to be spread... As Now Michigan Deer Hunting is in for some more Big Changes as CWD continues to Spread and HAS . Just some Observations!

I thought we didn't want the legislators getting into different government agencies areas of control? We need to leave it up to those experts in those agencies !
