Yeah have heard some reports of 24ish. So figured I might start there and head towards the line. Going to start with BB as well. From reports seems to be the most productive right now. Good luck everyone. See you out there.

Went out of SSP after work to take my girlfriend for her first time on Erie and first time for walleye. We caught a bunch of sheepshead, 6 walleyes (3 throw backs) and.... a channel cat!

Of course, all the fish we kept were the ones I gave her to reel in! Couldn't be happier though, she had a great time and the calm water and sunset were perfect for her first time out.

Caught them all on crawler harnesses, purple-ish and silver, light blue and silver, and one was like a firetiger. I only have 3 rods that I can pass off as trolling rods so that's it. Ran bottom bouncers on two and a 1 oz inline on the third. probably around 25-26 fow mostly

I call those big sheepies “bed pillows” cuz that’s what it feels like reeling them big suckers in!!!!

Heck yeah. You know immediately it's not a walleye. Called out on 68 once and talked to Baits Motel. Thanks for the reply. Hope everyone had fun today. Great fishery.

We picked away at a 3-man limit today.
    All on harnesses and BB’s
Caught and released at least (20) 12-14 inch walleye
Also caught plenty of sheepies with a couple “bed pillows” thrown in ugh.
Purple was the main color shade today.
2 oz BB’s 65-75 back @ 1.5-1.8 SOG being the best speed pulling in-line boards.
