I am trying to get brass for a.30-06 to reload. Wanted to avoid stores that still sold assault rifles. Any good sites out there?

Most of mine I got from shooting issue ammo in CMP matches. I've more than a life time supply. If you can't find an acceptable source, then PM me to arrange a sale to you.

Just google "once fired 30-06 Berdan brass" and you'll find what you're looking for. Order in bulk, save big.

The 30.06 caliber and the original rifles, were developed as assault rifles. That caliber was also a machine gun caliber.

Naw... That's not an assault rifle.

    No bayonette lug.

It depends. I get most of my .30-06 once-fired brass for reloading from the local gun club.

Good idea to stay away from stores that sell assault rifles unless you have many thousands of dollars to spend and can pass a Treasury background check and wait months to get approval. All the best...

Please help me to understand: What is your concern with merchants who sell "assault rifles" when looking for .30-06 brass?
