Is some type of drill chuck that would work with today's multi speed drills that could be used to spool line on spinning reel spools...much like is done in tackle shops.

I find it interesting that while the "Mono Gobbler" was developed to strip reels effectively with a drill; I can't seem to find a device that could be used to load spinning reels twist free....

Or has someone developed one and I just can't find it?

I'd say invent one if you have the ingenuity. You could probably make some cash from it.

already made one.... now i have a linewinder, but for years I used a drill. for unspooling it was as simple as using plastic toilet seat bolts to snug down an empty spool... for filling i used a spindle that i made for spinning reels. I never used it to fill trolling/baitcasters though.
