What kind of bird is this?

    I've never seen this kind of bird before, does anyone know what it is? Spotted him near West olive today. 20180512_133124.jpg

    Yellow rail maybe? Just a guess with the yellow beak.

    Thank you, it's not a yellow rail but that led me to what it is, a Dora common to all states. I've just never seen one before.

    Did you mean "sora"? Doesn't resemble Dora to me lol.

    They must not like snow, cause I have never seen anything like that in the Northwoods. Cool looking bird!
