I keep hearing about these strange creatures, but I honestly haven't hooked one in over two years. I'm beginning to think they're like a Sasquatch or Unicorn -- fun to talk about, but they don't really exist. Granted, one needs to get out and actually fish for them on a regular basis, which I have not had the chance to do, but still... lol ;)

Your sitting on the couch for too long has started to manifest in you pretending you're on Jepordy! and starting threads with answers in the form of questions... ;)

Alex: This species of Pacific Salmon was introduced to the Great Lakes to help get people off of their butts and go fishing.

Ding ding ding. What is a King?

Just kiddin around. Nice to have you back on the Forum @thousandcasts .

You know..... Smell that? You smell that? Kings, son. Nothing else in the world smells like that.
I love the smell of chinook in the morning. You know, one time we had a fished a river, for 12 hours. When it was all over, I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' king body. The smell, you know that chinook smell, the whole river. Smelled like...victory. Someday this salmon season's gonna end...

They say the Muskie is the Fish of Ten Thousand Casts. Could be Kings are heading that way.

But then, if there both a lot less Kings and a lot lot less people casting for 'em, maybe it won't take that many casts...

I spent most of last Kang season locked up in a hospital, I think I managed to get out fishing twice. I figure if I can stay out of the hospital and get out four times, that'll be considered significant progress! lol

I hope you can get out and enjoy the larger fish that we are seeing this year. Remember that life is so awesome hutch and your boys have so many firsts to come and being there for that and them is the most important thing there is in life! I hope you do good things and I pray for you.
