People that feel like they need to walk around all day during gun season.

People that wait until the day before opener to sight in a gun.

The regulations in the state and being able to shoot anything that moves.

    Road “hunters”

    Slob hunters

    More:

Bracken fern that flip flop in the breeze like a deer sliding its head over.

Beech leaves that wag back and forth like a doe’s tail.

I thought you were annoyed by imagining that you glowed like a blue man?

Must be something wrong with me because I seldom if ever get upset when I'm in the woods. I'm always interested in everything going on around me.

When I feel the need to get annoyed, I can always come home and read some of the posters on here.

Add to your list, "Guys that set a pop up blind the evening before the opener and expect to kill anything from it" and you've got me to a tee!

Sorry, I guess. At least I never have to look far for a good, old-fashioned, unbiased assessment. I always know where I stand...

Yeah, Kind of. But a half hour later when the group of seven does circled around and my buddy harvested the big one that busted me, I got over it right quick.

Oh, but that reminds me... You annoyed me by saying that deer don't notice blue glowing blaze orange coats sitting in a tree. 70 yards away. So there is that.

But then again, you only hunt in box blinds, right?

Acceptance is the answer to all my problems, eh? Now, if I could just accept that, I might be a Mother Theresa like you!

How about when you get your gun up and at-the-ready on opening morning, only to realize the true identity of the "lost fawn" making it's way past your stand.

    True story.

Once identified, Jeff called it in to three yards with his best "Baa, Baa, Black Sheep" call.

I am annoyed by poorly set stands (e.g, facing into the rising or setting sun, main shot opportunity on the weak side, bad seats, creakers).

No. It's actually just a start.

Make your high hurdles be mentally lower.

Where I hunt of late , very little bothers me.
The annual , gee I should have a blind set up back in there where deer sulk ,maybe.

When I hunted public , litter bothered me most.
My truck always needs to be cleaned out. But it's my mess , and I take it with me.
A blind or a stand is fine. But there's no good reason to leave litter.
If someone carried it out , they can carry it back.

This could be a long list, but it a lot has already been mentioned.

First..the guys that show up on opening day of gun season and are mad you are where they wanted to be "they scouted in August and nobody was around here"...I actually had that conversation with someone in the woods.

And the guy that shoots 6 times every time he shoots and it seems he's in the hottest spot in the woods because he's shot about 60 times by noon in opening day.

I could go on, but would just end up irritated all over again lol!

This year it's been after camps have left they leave a mess. Cans, broken bottles, trash ,on and on.
    Orange ribbons left everywhere.
Remains of deer dumped along side the roads or two tracks.
Beer cans thrown threw out the woods like trail markers.
    Playing flashlight tag with folks.
Then when you talk to the guy ,he says he has been hunting that spot for 20 years. You know he is BS ing because he wasn't there last year or the year before.
Really gun season has Zero appeal to me in the lower. Night and day from the Yoop.
