    This warm up looks like it will continue for a bit. The extended forecast shows above freezing 12 of the next 14 days in my neck of the woods. Multiple chances for rain also. Yuck!!!

    I put the heat houser on my tractor works every time. In the past when I did it the weather warmed up the rest of the winter

    3 years ago was a polar vortex for months.
    They were driving full size trucks 3 miles out on Sag Bay.

    I dug my ice gear out this year after a 13 year hiatus. I initially put it away because of it always getting warm and wrecking the ice, or first ice not happening until late Jan.

    Here we go again...

    Went out today out at lake Lansing after it had been downpouring all day. The warm front hasn't seemed to change the ice there were 10 plus inches of ice still just lots of water on top.
