Not a great report but we did ok. We started out in 22 foot just east of the onion around 7:30am.first hour we hooked 10 eyes five keepers and lost two right at the net.Weeds made it difficult. We moved out deeper in 24 foot and landed 10 fish same results five keepers.little weeds out deeper.Storm moved in from the south so we moved tighter to shore and land 4 more with three keepers. Went in before that storm hit around 11am.Most fish came on inlines 2 oz 25 back. Not one on bouncers (sheep rods).Take away the weeds and the fishing might be good.

Thanks for the report Nick! Looks like you got a few decent ones. Those dang weeds are a pain.

13 keepers, back at the dock at 11, "Not a great report, but we did ok". We are so fortunate to be able to say that. Guys in most of the rest of the country would call 13 15"+ walleye a banner morning!

Ain't that the truth. We are so spoiled around here when it comes to fishing in general, however, our walleye fishing is off-the-charts good lately. My cousins are out in South Dakota and they drive 2 hours each way to fish the Missouri river and are happy if they fish all day and bring home 4 or 5 barely keeper walleyes. When I tell them about Steelhead fishing and having to deal with all of the "nuisance" 15"-18" walleyes that get on our lines, they about fall over.
