A good friend of mine is a serious fly fisherman and he went up to yeats a few days ago to get his line wet and managed to pull in a few suckers and a walleye.

He is all catch and release but I thought catching a walleye that faqr up the river was really odd.

Is it normal to find them that far up?

Yup. Caught some many years ago in river bends park. Hitting the holes with a small jig.
