We have a friend who has a birthday coming up and she is having a gathering saturday for the U of M /MSU game.

So we want to get her a bottle of Vodka as she drinks that.

Not looking for the typical stuff, We want to get her something nicer.

On a side note I have a friend who owns a line of Vodka and he was telling me that Kirkland from Costco is Grey Goose just relabeled and cheaper price.( Yes she has a few bottles of this vodka)

Kirkland is bottled by Grey Goose. They have a big decorative bottle that is quite impressive. I've gifted that several times.

Not at all expensive, but deliciously different. Deep Eddy Lemon Vodka. My wife loves her cosmos made with it, and I might even have a little snort straight while I make her drink.

Only problem with a flavored vodka is you have a whole bottle of flavored vodka. I'd rather mix my own flavorings.

Crystal Head. It comes in a glass skull... Appropriate for this time of year.

Cool bottle, but just average vodka.

I haven’t drank vodka other than for Bloody Mary tailgates since college when martinis were our gateway to trying to be fancy. Absolut and then Grey Goose were some smooth stuff. If your friend really enjoys vodka, Grey Goose is sublime.

My sister bought the Crystal Head as a novelty and it mixes good for bloody Mary’s. Grey Goose, though, holy smooth til you’re staggering. As the father in A River Runs Through It says as he declines taking the steep route to the better fishing, “There was a time.”

That’s my issue with ********** (Riva’s eyes are bulging out of his head if he’s lurking)

Ice cold vodka with a lemon zest - it was delicious when my metabolism/body could withstand that. But sugar water/lemon syrup. Yuck.

Edit - that is hilarious that the site blocked

Tater vodka is for celiacs. Had a friend, that's all he could drink. He's dead.

Ketel One or Belvedere. Belvedere has a better looking bottle for gift purposes but Ketel One is generally regarded as the best.
