Uploading

    When I try to upload a picture the black box appears and says file to big.Off same camera I upload lots of pictures before

    If you right click on the image. Look for edit. Does it open in paint? If so look upper right for resize. When the box opens, change the 100 to 50. Should due it.

    You need to use some photo size reduction software.

    Yep try opening in paint and just save it as a different type even. Like from jpg to jpeg for example.

    Or take a screen capture and upload that.

    All photos from the same camera will be different file sizes

    It's great looking at the many pictures the members post...Except: those large file pics into the 1.0mb sizes that just make it through the upload process. Some of us folks on land lines/DSL have a hard time viewing them, waiting for them to load line by line by line, especially if there are several in a post. Everyone should reduce the sizes as best they can.
