Not big into turkey hunting but managed to get my first yesterday. Something I noticed while cleaning it was, the wings have no baring like I’m used to seeing. Any in sight?[IMG]

Domestic. Hunting in a barn yard? Just messing with ya. I don't know unless maybe some type of hybrid or cross breed. Either way congrats on the bird.

Not a barn yard bird but I was wondering if it wasn’t crossed. Another thing I was wondering about is that it had a 6 3/8 beard but the spurs were only 3/8

Almost looks like could be part black melanistic coloring . I have shot a few in Southern Michigan like that with almost all black primaries like that but the rest was normal so not full melanistic coloring which woild be mostly black all over .

Cool bird. I saw a Tom a few weeks ago with all white wings. Was all woods for miles so not a farm bird.
