I have a 2007 90hp E-Tec. The trim motor shaft seal is leaking. Does anyone know where to get it rebuilt in SE Michigan. I can take it off and reinstall it. Thanks
If you mean the piston shaft seal, its not a difficult job as long as you can get the cap off and get new seal may as well replace cap seal while ur at it
After the cap is unscrewed the entire shaft and piston assembly needs to be un-assembled to get to the cap shaft seal. The seal rebuild kit is about $130 and the special tool are about $150. I'm sure I could do it as I've rebuilt a fair number of Fox nitrogen charged snowmobile shocks. But would rather hire it out
