The old API stands it was common for those to make a ton of noise ,so guy's sprayed foam in them to help deadin them.

Hockey tape on the joints of my ladders to stop noise. Also equipped my 21’ ladder with indoor plumbing (funnel and tubing down to a hole dug at the base of the tree).

I also built a wooden recliner-ish platform above a 12’ ladder that I am excited to tryout this season.

while I did not mod it myself I have some sweet vine growth on another ladder. I really makes the stand blend in, which has me thinking I could transplant some to my other stands.

I squeeze silicone into ladder connections to help with squeaking and rigidity to the ladder sections. I also install rubber gasket material in between metal to metal connectors..

I have started installing more gear /bow/gun hooks on all my stands .
I install them for left and right hand shooters..
This year I also made a foot peg(s) (ladder.stand) and installed them much higher toward the seat so I can raise my knees and get more of a reclining/ slouching position just to help comfort during long sits .

It's lighter and more comfortable. You can't level it, but I hardly used that function on the lonewolf. The lw would be the perfect stand if they ever Incorporate a sling style seat

IMG_20200730_170636.jpg A few other mods I did to save weight and noise. Rope mode to sticks. Double step on the bottom of my top stick for setting stand. (From Eastern outdoors)I also switched to 3 sticks with rope aiders. As another member mentioned the retractable gear or bow hoist is great. Had one on my climber for years and now my saddle and hang on.

No it's some camo fabric tape. They are kinda shiny and my rubber boots in contact with them do make some sound. I know it's overkill, but I'll take every advantage I can.
