Let’s start a thread on things you learned today or recently.

I have used nail guns for 25 years and today, for the first time I put a 23 gauge pinning brad in my thumb. What I learned is that it hurts. Ouch.

I learned new video game technology has left me in the dust when it comes to my kids PS4. Online, downloads, hoops you gotta jump through to play a damn video game!

After having the kids and grandkids visiting over the past week, I learned that I really, really like the empty-nest syndrome. So quiet, uncluttered, and relaxing.

The older you get, the more pleasing the sound of quiet is.

Do not return a gift that was bought in a Grand Rapids Meijer to the Big Rapids Meijer. I was given three shirts by my DIL for Christmas. They were marked 2x but were smaller than the 1x's I usually wear so I took them back. I had the gift receipts for them. The BR Meijer did not handle them so they were not in their system. I should have asked them to call the store director to let her solve the problem.

It is no wonder that Lena Meijer is not happy with the store is being run. Another DIL used to stay nights with Lena shortly after Fred died. She said that Lena voiced her displeasure a few times.

No she did not, no butter on my toast either. Her mother is a health nut and passing it on to her daughter it looks.
