It must be terrible to identify as a Man, and be trapped in a woman's body. Or vice, versa. I can't understand it, but it has to be incredibly difficult.

Who cares? His life. Live it how he wants. We spend too much of our lives worrying about people we'll never meet or will never have any affect on our actual lives.

What do you expect? She grew up in a trailer park with a raging alcoholic for a father and her best friends were criminals. That would screw up most people.

Maybe you haven't seen it in your actual life yet, but its coming to a town near you. My nephew is in 4th grade and goes to school with a boy who thinks he is a girl (more like the parents have him believing that). His entire class has to play along, know which pronouns to use, etc. For the most part I agree with your sentiment, but at some point you gotta call a spade a spade. There is an objective reality we all share, and when you start blurring those lines for kids, I don't see how that is beneficial to society.

When science takes a back seat to political correctness, there is a problem.

If I identify as 65, can I claim social security? Asking for a friend.

If I identify as the governor’s husband, does that mean I’m exempt from the next motorboating ban? Asking for myself.

    Howdy-
Everyone deserves to live their life in whatever way they chose.
It must be tough to have spent so much time in a gender that didn't fit right.
Kudos to him for having the courage to declare what mattered to him.
Shame on y'all for making jokes about a serious subject.

It doesn't bother me in the least. I am worldly, I have supped with a transgender female to male at the dinner table. Nicest kid in the world. I worry about my back hurting when I wake up, they worry about some bigot beating them up or killing them for being who they are. Kids are resilient. When my nephew came out, we were very careful about how we approached it with our kids. None of them cared. They all still loved him the same. We all love his husband. It's uncomfortable, I have no doubt. But, we are who we are.

We only get one shot on this marble. I for one am thankful I don't have to live with that fear/anger/confusion that trans people live with EVERY fn DAY.
