I am going to purchase a winter supply of TP and paper towels this time around. The video in the link it worth watching. https://www.nbcnews.com/health/heal...s-country-heads-fall-n1244196?icid=cv_marquee
Yep, it's getting bad with the 300 percentage increase from what, about 3 weeks? Could we be facing another lockdown before opening gun? I see the state health department is setting the rules from laws passed 100 years ago. I can not find what penalty they can impose for these restrictions, 100 years ago was misdemeanors or felonies distinguished? They did have chain gangs back then, will be interesting to say the least!
I have a friend who works at a Metro Detroit Hospital and she said the admissions for covid-19 are on the rise. My wife works in a Assisted Living center and they have residents who have to leave for dr appts or trips to the hospital and there numbers are rising plus staff. I am not one to live in the "Sky is falling group" but I have been saying for weeks, now that fall is here the numbers are going to rise and then flu season is around the corner. Lots of High school football teams have cancelled there games for tomorrow due to positive cases. And Yesterday Big Gretch made a dire warning that a lock down isnt out of the questions as the Numbers Rise
I don't think we're going to see a major flu outbreak this year, due simply to the fact that most (rational/educated) people are wearing masks, social distancing and practicing good hand hygiene. Heck, I doubt there are studies on this, but I'd opine that the simple act of shaking hands (remember that?) spread more flu than any other factor.
I wonder what the threshold is and how long they plan to stay closed? You're talking about a much larger school but At the end of September there was small outbreak in my home town that culminated in a school employee passing away. They closed for a week and reopened. It's been two weeks since they've been back and no news is good news I suppose.
I usually get my flu shot and this year is no exception. I had to wait to few weeks for the high dose vaccine to make it to small town Michigan and took care of it yesterday. Our county just made it to the triple digit mark but deaths have not increased since April and still remain at 2. I’m not too concerned but I don’t work from home. Then again I have not worked in nearly ten years so there is lots of time to make a bad decision. Good luck. Stay healthy my friends.
