I've seen nine does and fawns so far, they are really spooky in this wind.

I didn't know if she died, as she ran into the cover and I couldn't hear a crash. So I let her sit for my normal 4-5 hours before going in to look. 14 yards for 1st blood, she ran less then 50 from there, towards the road too, WHICH was nice! LOL I had her back to the house at 3am, in the frig at 5am! My wife is cooking stew now!

OK, I'm off the schneid early! Still have high hopes with this area producing a nice buck.

I ended up seeing 16 last night. I gave one buck a pass I believe is a two year old.

I also saw a couple of the big guys we have on camera out in the neighbors soybeans. All in all a great first sit.

So far I've only seen a 4 point and lots of does. The big boys haven't been around.

yes it is. We have ran one around our corn and soybeans for a number of years. There are 4 separate ribbons. Two on the inner fence and two on the outer fence which is placed about 3’ from the inner.

My son cancelled on our Sunday golf game, so I went out this afternoon to a new spot. I saw some deer come out the other night when I killed my doe AND moved as close as I could to their feeding area. Had high hopes.

15 minutes before sundown I heard a branch break and I caught movement, a buck was working a scrape in this bowl that is hidden from view UNTIL I got in this tree up on the ridge. 59 yards, had all day, but I was hoping he'd move off in my direction, which he did BUT only got to 50 before disappearing. Just a bit to far. A 2nd buck showed up 5 minutes later and worked the same area. Got a tree I'm going to sit with the right wind that will put me between this feeding area and their scrape. HOPE it pans out!

Exciting night for me on public, either way. Rarely see 2 bucks in a sit!
