Just sick about what happened tonight. I shot a doe and put a good hit on her even heard her go down. Problem was she went onto the neighbors property and he went ballistic on me when I asked him to allow me to recover her.. I was 75 yards off the line but I shoot a smaller fixed blade broadhead.. I know she is down fairly close to the line. I just can't get over to get her.. Plus I was hunting on a friend's property and he doesn't need trouble with neighbors because of me.. I feel terrible about it..

Yikes! might try the local CO and see if maybe they'd be willing to make contact with the neighbor and/or recover the deer for you. They are good moderators for those types of situations.

Connected with a doe on Wednesday Morning. She gave me a lay up that I couldn’t pass on.

    Nice job guys!!
Full Quiver, I hope that neighbor never needs the sportsmanship returned. Karma has a way of finding you at the worst possible times.

I finally got to hunt my new 40 yesterday and saw a lot of deer. Had a shooter buck at 50 yards but no shot opportunity.

Nice doe, carnage! FullQuiver, I was hoping your neighbor might come around.

Slow here. Mostly does moving. I'm out right now, I might decide to take one this morning, but every time I do, it seems something goes wrong. I have a nice big for about 100yds from me now in the food plot, but she's heading the wrong way.

I haven't been out in a week. I haven't felt good for about two weeks, and since last Wednesday I have felt miserable. I was given some different medications yesterday and seem to feel a little better today. My first Rona test last week came back negative, they made me take another yesterday. As long as that comes back negative and I continue to improve I should be out this week sometime.

FullQuiver, what a bummer. The CO option might be worth pursuing, can't hurt to call. Good job CP13! I'm out on tiny private chunk. One snorted at me in the dark. Only squirrels and a woodchuck. Saw a 10 point during early doeand got pic a couple days ago. Hope it wasn't him I spooked. Good luck team.

Got a call from the farmer we lease land from today. He asked that we shoot at least 8 does this year. He states his crop damage is through the roof and he is seeing way to many deer standing in his fields. So once I am able to get back to the field I guess I'd better get busy.:coolgleam

With favorable wind and storm coming in, had to get out to private land spot. Let's hope they're moving. Just started to sprinkle intermittently in Washtenaw county. Good luck.

I spent the morning scouting a public land area. The 2019 Thanksgiving storm really messed things up there. I prepped a couple stands but it took longer than I expected. We had 40 mph wind today. I skipped then evening hunt and will be heading home for a few days as they are predicting rainy weather all week here.

I killed a small doe (what I was targeting) on Sunday night. I'm holding off entering her right now.. IMG_20201010_203126781.jpg
