Ill be most likely heading up this weekend for an afternoon
observation sit. I usually get serious 3rd week of oct but
i try not to miss opening weekend. That being said, if these
computer issues keep up at work, I maybe playing hookey
    sooner than later, haha!

Well guys haven't had a chance to check in lately so just catching up on everyone's updates. Planning to be out tomorrow evening after work then will probably take a little time off until later in October as most areas I hunt are better later in the month. Checked my 1 stand on state land only to find someone needed it more than I did!

Bummer about the stand! People suck!

Morning sit was pretty good. Seen 4 bucks and a yearling doe. No shooter bucks. I did also see 3 really big Deere at 8:30 when they pulled in to finish the corn. We’ll see how far they get before the rain. I’ll be back out tonight to see if Mr. Big is around and hungry.

In the woods for my 1st sit this year haven't hunted this property in 2 years its always been good but last year I tagged out before I had a chance to hunt it. Neighbor told me he's been seeing 2 nice 10pts in the back corner of the field regularly so I'm sitting on the ground today hopefully get a shot before they enter.

I decided against the hunt last night with the periodic rain coming through. Couple more hours here at the office today and then I'm headed to the stand.

Audible called on account of farming practices. They’re now plowing the corn stubble so instead of watching the tractors, I’m behind my parents place tonight. I filled both my buck tags back here last year. Hoping that it’s just as target rich this year too.

Opener I sat morning and evening only to see a few doe and some long beards. I plan to head out for the evening hunt tonight and take a doe, if one presents a shot. Good luck Bloodstream crew!!!

Last night yielded two deer sightings, a yearling doe and a spike.

Tonight, I’m sitting at my place with the only real goal of pulling cards after dark. Overlooking my poor excuse for a food plot. My trial method didn’t work out very well. I’ll be going back to the proven method next year.

Well points on the board guys!! I took a mature doe around 630 this evening. 30 yd shot and she only went about 30 yds before laying down. Tried out the new rage no collars and one of the blades is gone after the shot. Must have hit a rib on the way in, and broke off because the entrance hole is much larger than the exit. Now time to focus on one of my target bucks.

    nice fish lumberman!! 76E9068A-982D-436A-81B8-ADA0A4FCE46D.jpeg
