Team #11 Elusive Eleven Official Team Thread

I'm out this morning. Had a few does move through the field shortly after good shooting light. Opted to pass hoping something else would come check it out. Kind of regretting it now lol

 

We got this pic on our way down to hunt last Thursday. Then this one Friday the opener. We're heading back next weekend.

 

Very nice! He is tall, did you get him or another guy from the group?

 

We don't really have a group. Just my son and I. That old guy is me. My son had technical difficulties at the time of truth. Fortunately he came by me, then he at least got to hold the rack

I finally filled a doe tag tonight. I'm not going to submit it yet because I'm gonna try and get one with my bow late season.

 

I dropped the ball big time guys and I apologize. For starters I’ve been on a big midnight OT stretch starting a couple days after nov 15. I planned on submitting my buck, but was in such a rush opening day that I took it to the processor without getting the proper pics. I was hoping when I got it back I’d get the pic with the deer head/tag, but since again I’m on midnights my wife did me a favor and picked it up for me and took it to the taxidermy...not knowing I needed to take a few pics first. I apologize for not getting our team the points.
Mother worst time to have overtime, especially midnights, is during deer season. This is terrible.

Don't sweat it man, we have until the end of December to submit it. Maybe the taxidermist will let you stop by and snag a picture with it. If not, don't worry about it, its just a for fun contest.

 

Brought the xbow tonight. Just sent a dbl lunger through a doe. Pics later

Hunted the edge of a big swamp tonight. A spot I found last time I was up here in Hesperia. Lots of runs and some nice scrapes that haven't seen much activity lately. I really enjoy the view here but only saw 2 unidentified deer aways off. Be back at the same spot in the morning. Good Luck All!

 

My tracking crew this evening. They did a great retrieval. A little Saturday night fun.
