TEAM #10 10Derloins!

I’ll be out in the morning. First hunt down state with a gun for the season. Looking for a doe or decent buck. Be out a few more times this weekend weather and time permitting.

 

I’m tied up this weekend, but I’ll be looking for a doe or nice buck next week here in Washtenaw with the .350. Deer are starting to focus on food - my turnip plot has been a dinner bell as of late

Looks like we have a few team members out this morning...and over the weekend. I'll be sitting this weekend out. Probably won't hunt around home at all...no doe permit and very little optimism of any bucks in the neighborhood I'd like to put a second tag on. I'll pick my times wisely for day trips down south. It's a great "late" season farm though...very little doubt I can add a 5 point doe to the scorecard...and always a decent chance of getting a nice buck down there yet. We still know of a few different mature deer on the farm...and usually a couple of new ones move in every December after the rut and gun pressure subside. Good luck guys! Let's add a couple to the list this weekend! I'll be checking in occasionally while getting some house/yard work done.

I’ll wack a doe at some point. I’ve had 20 come through tonight already. Very surprised with the deer activity today. Nothing on this half of the field though. The wind is wrong for where I want to be where all of the deer are moving through.

 

Just going for the woods to quiet down ,then I'll be back at it. Late season is my favorite.

 

Late season has always been my favorite in years past. I have taken more bucks in December than any other month. If you have a late season food source you are golden
