I remember that roar while visiting my aunt and uncle at footsite village in the 70's. They retired there a few house's down from the Dam store.

Not warthogs but way back when fishing the Ausable River, they used foot damn for mock target practice. They would fly the river valley just above the tree tops heading upriver and when they got to the dam, they would shoot almost straight up and man would it roar.

They'd come over Alcona pond like that. Once they broke the sound barrier and the whole lake rippled from the sonic boom! Was biggest crack of thunder sound I'd ever heard!

Working at the end of north river road the day of the World Trade Center strike was like running over a ground bee nest with your lawn mower with the buzz of all the fighter jets coming out of selfridge. A day I will never forget!!!!!!!!!

Dam that must have been something. If I remember right they said the jets were in Pennsylvannia in like 15 minutes.

Well my season is definitely over now. Sold the boat tonight. Have been trying to get out for the last 3-4 weeks, but the days I've been able to go, the lake hasn't cooperated. Took the buyer out for a ride on Sunday and the water temp was 54⁰. Didn't go to far from the pierhead. Search is on now for next season.

Going to a bigger walkaround...i think. I like the walkarounds, striper or proline probably. Have looked at a few other brands so who k knows. I think the wife would rather have something like a dual console but we'll see

One like this? 25 ft with outboard bracket. 100 hrs on the motor and fully loaded? It's a 1999 but in great shape. It's also an east side fish catching machine! Pm me for details. 994288780.jpeg 1570767416.jpeg IMG_20200918_140217_01.jpeg 1760161554.jpeg 43026857.jpeg
