Just checked my calendar Flight....Yep - I'm off all 16 of those days!

Me too...and not retired.

 

Right now I have November 2-16 off but I’ll probably take a couple more days also. All in the Yoop!!!

 

Good Lord willing this is my last year I have to worry about vacation time. I have the first week of November scheduled for Michigan and the second for Iowa

 

I’m jealous but hopefully down to my last two years.

I might have a doctors appointment during that period......or might need one. Nothing is guaranteed when you're old and retired.

 

I put my vacation request in back in March

Did a bunch of Thursday Fridays this year. Last year I did Friday-Monday and Friday on public land was always my best day and Monday sucked .

Nov 5-6
Nov 12-13
Nov 16-17


If our December vacation gets canceled that gives me 8 more days to sprink around early Nov.

 

I'm getting antsy for it to get here. Retirement so far has included a lot of work for me but my vacation starts from opening day to January 1st. Bring it on!

 

this is a tough year to pick. last year took the first 2 weeks of Nov plus the 3 weekends. this year want to do 2 weeks around halloween week. but then that means driving back up a week later for gun, which we may stay for a week. i think i would just prefer 4 straight weeks. and work from camp a few afternoons. i wonder how that conversation will fly. "see you in a month or so"

 

Now there is something to be jealous about.

 

I took Oct 30 through Nov 25 and Dec 10 thru 22 off this year...plenty of time to hopefully get a deer and spend time with the family!

 

I got the first 18 days plus the 27th. And any day after work. 8 wk stay at home helped conserve them. Have a few more to play with. Going to be retired before too long.
