    Very nice, last Thursday when i was at NP i shot five and every duck was in full plumage just like you Drake and Teal. if i did not already have a Teal and Mallard mounted i would have from last Thursdays take.

    I wanted the teal mounted with the mallard but his face and beak where blown up. I'm surprised the amount of teal and woodies still around a lot more than usual for this time of year.

    I was reading in DU or delta that they shoot quite a lot of gwt in Utah in the salt marshes around the great salt lake very very late in the season

    GWT are much hardier than BWT. Never surprising to see them late in the year, even at the split. Still just harder to hit even if it is just an illusion.
