P-Line 10 lb. Mostly bobber fishing. 8lb Flouro leader.

For bouncing I prefer 8 lb mainline. With a flouro or maxima leader in 6 lb. (feels more sensitive, and seems to cut the water better)

Berkley Trilene XL 8 pound clear . I use it for my surf and pier fishing. I respool 4 reels and 4 spare spools about every year, so I buy it in bulk. Its the thinnest line in 8 pound that I could find. I may experiment with a line of similar diameter but in 6 pound if I can find it. My leaders I use P-line 6 pound flourocarbon.

River fishing I have used Stren hi vis gold and like it. Suffix has an blaze orange line that is good. Suffix line is high quality. Center pin guys I hear like using a flaoting mono line. Sigron (spelling) makes it.

    Moss Green, #6 & #6, sometimes use a #5 or #4 (floro) leader when bobber drifting. ;)

Maxima 8lb 3 years zero issues used P Line and did fine as well. Aside from snagging back in the day the biggest fish I have caught in the rive were on 8lb Maxima

I also would use maxima 8lbs main and 6lbs lead unless the water is really clear then i switch up to 4lb. For bobber fishing I think it's best to have a braided main with a 4lb. lead so then if you get hung up you never loose a bob. Good luck. Fish On!!!!!!
