How has The harness bite been since the storms over the weekend?
We jigged early Saturday morning catching a few in front of the State Park. Then switched to BB and harnesses and it was game on for the rest of the weekend. Sunday morning produced bigger fish than Saturday. We were between 30-50 fow, but it didn't seem to matter where you were. Guys were pulling in fish all over the river.
Whipping also produced once the sun went down too. Red/Chrome was the ticket.
Got a two man limit this morning with a lot of throw backs between the state park and sand piles
im heading out tomorrow looks like weather tonight might not be best? ill report, somewhere around marine city or st.clair?
I'm planning on going out of st Clair on Tuesday evening. Glad to hear the bite is still on
My daughter and I got a limit Saturday morning out of St. Clair...not much for size, but a great day on the water!
i got 2 17 inchers this weekend and was like, oh man what a hog. Had to wear Saftey glasses last night with all the bugs hitting me in the face when running fast.
2 man limit today trolling harnesses. Kept the biggest 12 today while boating 55 fish from 9am-2pm. Marine City to Algonac in 30-40fow.
Jig bite was unreal this afternoon in Algonac
This morning in St.clair also. 40-46' had purple, partner had vampire fin-s
Unbelievable amount of fish in short order. First time a fin-s was damn near torn in half from 2 hrs of fishing
Great job! Looks like some nicer fish as well!
Was that north or south of the launch?
is it rough out there today? im going tonight
Go out and try both.
