Anyone out of Sterling today? Just wondered what was going on in Michigan waters. Seems like everyone is Brawlin in Ohio. Thinking about putting down the rifle and heading down tomorrow!
Water was green, not brown. I would be happy with that color out on Lake Huron, but still a cloudy green. Seemed like the boats were moving quite a bit, and worked out a way. I bumped a fish in 16 feet, and pecked away at two more [ATTACH=f

That was the only place we found em yesterday...15-16. Off the beach...south end. Tried up to 12 and out to 18. Didnt even mark much. Wondering if I should have ran into 6 or 8... see guys in yaks limiting in OH and ya know theyre not going 2 miles out.
Gorgeous chrome! That had to be a great surprise!! We tried down off of Toledo Beach in 14 to 16 fow, not a bump. Moved out to cleaner water at the OH line and went 6 for 7 in a couple hours. If it ever cleans up to even just a foot of visibility, it will be game on. Jay PS. Sorry, no pics today; smashed my left hand yesterday and it was all I could do to fish today....client just now sent me one that he took; this was Wally’s first Eye!
Fished between light and TB took 18 with a few that decided to let grow a little bit. Fish wanted short leads between 20 and 35’. Water was a bit more turbid than it has been but the fishing was still pretty good. Surprising how the shots from the duck hunters carry across the lake. Didn’t hear a lot of shooting but there were some volleys.
I was wondering that myself. There is a guy in Minnesota on YouTube that has a llt of instructional videos on Walleye fishing he was catching them in fall in like 2-3 fow off gravel ridges, but my old Linder Walleye series videos say in fall Walleye go to the steepest drops off the main lake basins. I guess that can leave a guy scratching his head until it bleeds.
Went 11 for 12 today out on the dumping grounds. Fish wanted very short leads 15 and 10ft got all the bites. Blue parakeet bandit was a winner today. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
