Don't forget to move the hour hand up one hour tonight.
I wish this biannual change would go away forever. What a pain, especially the spring change.
What cracks me up is hearing people say we'll get an extra hour of daylight now. Some people are too funny.
Yes, I don't already hear about this enough thanks.
Though why are there three threads for this???
Right? I mean obviously we're saving up daylight, not using more of it. Not sure what we're saving it for
Effing hate it. Now is normal, works for me.
Just realized.....our puppy is still caged at night and her biological clock will take a while to adjust, who was the genius anyway!!!
Twice a year every year we hear our state politicians talk about doing away with DST. That's all it is, is TALK. Be nice if they took the bull by the horns and finally did something about it.
Maybe it's time to do away with the "job" called "politician". Almost all of the bull caca can be directly traced back to them.
The system screwed up. I had the extra ones deleted.
Just wish they would carry it through November, get an hour more sleep during deer season.
"The snow is melting faster because of daylight savings time. There's the same amount of daylight, but the xtra hour of afternoon sun is warmer than the extra hour of morning sun. Go back to standard time and the melting will slow down and there will be less flooding. Problem solved."
You actually sleep during deer season?? I call it being in a state of "alert comatose."
I figure there's an extra hr of daylight at the end of the day for cleaning fish.
On the downside, I have to wait another hr if I want to go trout fishing at night.
Extra hour of USEABLE daylight for most. Without it would begin to get light at 4am with sunrise at 5am june, july, and august. I would rather have a hour extra in the evening that I could use than sunlight between 5-6 am while sleeping. (i am a morning person and usually wake between 5-6am most days.
Daylight does not change. There is not an extra hour, "usable" or not. Time does not change, only the government rules do.
Are you sure? Then how can you explain that we will have an extra hour of daylight in the evening?
