I was looking for some extension poles to get my spinner mallard above the corn for this season, and I realized that the aluminum tent pole that I have are the correct size for the job. My question is, how would you guys paint the poles so that don't have any glare. I know to use a matte paint, but what color? I would be hunting in swamps and corn fields, but I have plenty of poles so I could paint each one a different color to use for different locations.

I bought camouflage tape and wrapped the pole like a hockey stick. No glare and no paint scratching off either

We used that hunters specialty "marsh grass" color to repaint some gun holders and our canoe. Works well in corn and grassy areas. Blends nicely, and the ducks didn't seem to notice. It's like a light tan color.

This is the color I went with. It's Rustoleum matte burlap.
