    Sorry for your loss.
"Many would say if you are going to go, go doing what you love."
Problem, what the aftermath does to the family. It affects everyone including you.
I had a heart attack bow hunting in ILL 17 yrs ago. That stress on my wife was horrible.
My thoughts go out to you and your family.

Prayers for you and your family. Losing a loved one is never easy, whether you know in advanced or in an event as sudden as your brother-in-laws passing...its never easy.

I am soo sorry Steve...however, you knew where to go and what to do. Life is short and although you had to find him...it would a way I too would like to go. Praise God for all good things.

Steve, my deepest condolences to you and the family....

Thanks for sharing, this gave me great clarity on what’s actually important when I’m up hunting. It’s not the deer....

So sorry to hear this Steve. His last hunt will forever be embedded in your mind with a less than exciting outcome. I've often said that would be the perfect way to go, but never thought about the ones it would effect most. My sincere condolences are with you and the family.

Really sorry for your loss Steve. Thank you for the reminder to all of us. We all want to think we are bullet proof and we aren't.

    Sorry to hear that.

Burn the Christmas trees and get 2020 over with.

He was the kind of guy anyone would want to hunt with and yes the first responders were angels in their own way.

  15. I can’t give that post a like because that is a horrible tragedy and my heart as I’m sure all of us here goes out to you and your family. You are absolutely right. Too many times we kinda feel invincible and don’t get thing s checked out when we should I m as guilty as the next Don’t want to run to the doctor for every little pain or cough but those ongoing things should get checked out. Prayers to you and your family during this difficult time.
