Some Deceivers

    Finally got around to tying some Deceivers. Planning on targeting Pike with my 8wt, but won't mind if a Bass grabs these instead.

    Also tied up a Double Deceiver, following the Fly Fishing the Ozarks video on youtube.

    Bob Clouser's Deep Minnow and Lefty Kreh's Deceiver are two of the greatest streamers ever developed in Fly Fishing. I think I still have a VHS tape somewhere where each tie their trademark flies and explain the tips and tricks to tie them correctly.

    You can pretty much catch any fish worth catching with either.

    Thanks gents!

    I firmly believe that about Clousers, especially Chartreuse-over-White. I've caught at least 6 different species on one of those. These are my first Deceivers, but I've heard the same things. I'll have to give them a try this year.
