And this is why Michigan will never be near Iowa or any other state it could be all these answers are blatantly the obvious answer.
The petition is a dumb idea but there have been dumber ones.
It dont matter to me either way, we own property in an APR area and that is making me very happy. I only buy 1 buck tag a year anyway. I dont need 2 bucks. If I want or need meat I buy a doe tag or two. We all know the does outnumber the bucks. Bought 1 of each this year.
Buy the current combo, use the buck tags as doe tags where legal, saves you money.
I think anyone who hasn't filled their restricted tag by Nov. 1 should have to return it so that someone who could, can.
No bait and 1 buck, lmao. Most of them can’t even kill 1 buck without bait, let alone 2. Cry away!
Hey brewer, if it takes 30 days to fill a restricted tag, maybe take up fishing?
I think archery hunters shouldn't be given a month and a half head start. I'll be contacting my congressman to propose a bill to make Nov just deer season - use whatever weapon you like.
I'm also going to propose going back to the old tag rules with a twist - everyone gets 2 antlerless tags over the counter and only landowners with 40 or more contiguous acres are eligible for a buck tag lottery.
Make it 160 acres or more and you’ll have my support. 40 acre land baron, too funny.
The 40 acre requirement was the old antlerless tag lottery rules - I'm just bringing it back with a new twist.
Although I'm kidding, that's the point. Why should I be out of tags while you're sitting on one you can't fill?
Michigan needs to adopt Ohio's deer regs...
Only private property can bait, sounds good
Don't shoot them and you would not be out of tags! LOL!
