Does anybody know where I can find a 13' shimano clarus in stock in or around berrien county? I just bought my first centerpin and would like to get it on a rod and try to figure it out. Thanks for any help!

I would venture to guess your only chance of finding one in stock would be Tackle Haven in Benton Harbor...

Tackle haven only has the aventa and the new sst float rod. Boozer you are right they are the only place around that has any centerpin rods. Looks like i will just order one.

Your choice of rods will depend on what you are fishing for and where you are fishing. Big rivers = big rods, small rivers = shorter rods, big fish (salmon) = heavier line rods, catch my drift. Let us know what you plan to use it for and what you would like to spend and it will make it easier. You can spend from $99 up to and beyond $1000 for a custom rod, just depends on a lot of different things.

I fish the Muskegon and the Grand for steelhead and salmon. I also fish the PM but I'm all set there. Just looking for a general idea. Thanks again.
