good morning all, just wondering if anyone has any updates on what the water conditions are after last night and this mornings high winds and rain. anything from anywhere from algonac to port huron on what the water like. thanks in advance, all help is appreciated
I can say from first hand experience from last night the water was full of fish.....the howling north wind and rain is going to muddy up fast.....last night had about 5 ft visability in mc
yes but it fishes so much different for some reason. Same with the DR... if its dirty it makes it a lot tougher. Makes no sense but that's the way it is.
Just got off the river between St Clair and Marine City, the water isn't bad. It's not crystal clear yet but it's certainly not stained. Its definitely clear enough to fish. I picked up 5 decent fish in about an hour and one 20" SM Bass.
Casted last night water is a little cloudy, would guess 4' of viz maybe 5', would say it is perfect for fishing, just a little hazy. Not crystal clear like it usually is. Ended up with one big walleye and a lot of rock bass.
Casted port huron last night. Same report as 667ss with 4 to 5 feet of vis. Landed 2 nice fat eyes and lost a fat one and missed a few nice hits. All on finn s minnows
Casted last night, water clarity was much better than it was Friday night.
