Even when the winds slack, the lake takes time to settle.

I wish there was a sticky thread that wouldn’t allow for replies and ONLY featured a morning/afternoon picture of the Edison stacks, from the same location daily. It’s such a crap shoot down there. Down there, as far as current conditions, a “steam stream” report is more reliable than a typical weather report.

Now THERE is a concept. We just need a webcam trained on the Edison stacks, and we'll be all set. Real time wind report for Brest Bay. Oorah

We started near the DG this morning. Pretty easy drive from BB. We only had a few waves crash us as we got to the DG. Anchored and watched easy 6 fters roll until 11. Then it tamed to 3-5. Around 1:30 it laid down to a manageable chop. We ran back to BB at 24 mph without beating up the boat or getting wet. Super lite tough bite. We managed 22 and a few sheep and about a dozen throwbacks. 18 of our fish came between 11:45 - 1:00.

they just need to move the cam at BBM a little to the right and you'd be able to see the stacks

It was to bumpy to get up and text or get on the radio LOL... That's a nice pic right there. It looks like a mirror. Not a ripple on that lake. We will try to stop by next weekend for a beer.

Fished 2 to 7, wasn't rough but it was a,tough day. Tried 7 spots from 16 ft to 24 ft ebuoy area. We only got 15. This Detroit river jig fisherman has a lot to learn about the lake.
