I just bought a MK lV and am having some difficulty with the bolt release. I have found a extended safety switch but I was looking for an extended bolt release. I plan on buying both for ease of use and for thumb placement. Does anyone know where I can find a bolt release to fit this pistol? Thanks. Todd.
FYI. I'm right hand. So if using my rt thumb to release the bolt i have to lift my palm off of the grips. I'm trying to learn the fundamentals of pistol shooting as I am a shotgun guy and never really bothered with pistols. Any tips would be great.

If I understand the question-I dont think the bolt hold open is used for (as) a bolt release. I think after a while that wears the release and it wont hold open the bolt. This probably dont help.
You can use the bolt release but with a full magazine I just pull back on the bolt and sling shot the bolt to start shooting. Hope this helps.
