rook shooting

    been out today shooting young rooks on branches.we have so many over here we have to keep them in check,.they do so much damage to the corn when it goes in.i went out in woods today.and shot 42 we can shoot rooks and crows all year round over here in england,can you do the same and shoot young rooks on branches.this is befor they can fly.its the best way to get them.we do it every year over here.

    That sounds like fun. In Michigan we have seasons on the crows in Aug/Sep and then again in Feb/Mar. They are fascinating birds and I have a lot of respect for them, but I wouldn't hesitate to blast a few during the season for the same reasons you mentioned.
