I was wondering if anyone had any advise for a good all around trolling rod that I could use to plug for steelhead on the river but also use for walleye on some small lakes. A happy medium ya know. I have the okuma coldwater line counter reels. Thanks

I switched over to Ugly Stick Elites to get something a little lighter than the stuff I was using for the big water. I have a few paired with Okuma Coldwaters and have been pleased with the setups for trolling. I use them for atlantics, walleye, pike and steelhead, although haven't done any river plugging with them. Medium action in both 6'6" and 7', a good deal at fifty bucks.
