Just a heads up remington is offering the rebate again 100 per case , 3 case max.
Bought two cases last night. Can’t go wrong for $70/case.
I'm about to pull the trigger on this but I can't find the actual rebate form for the Nitro Steel. Anyone have a link?
If you order it from Rogers they usually include the rebate form with the order.
Do people actually get the $100 back? I’m always a bit skeptical of those things.
I’ve always gotten my rebates back.
I've received several rebates over the years from Hevi-Shot. They take a while but always show up. I have never done a Remington rebate.
I took my chance and bought two cases. At $7/box you can’t go wrong! Side note, how do they pattern out of your guys’ guns? We shoot most of our birds at 10-30 yards feet down so either way I’m not worried at all. Just curious.
I personally have no idea how they pattern as without the rebate they're far overpriced for what they are. I guess we'll find out though.
I really have never patterned many waterfowl loads out of my gun. I've shot cheap loads up to more expensive shells and they all knock birds down. Last late season I forgot to take out some cheap #4 Winchester Xpert swatter loads out for geese and shot a goose at like 40-45 yards as it was bailing out after we started shooting. So I think anything that's fairly close and within a reasonable killing range it will not matter what shell is going through your gun, point and shoot and you'll kill birds.
I never patterned Remington loads. I shot a lot of nitro steel years ago and always was a fan. Can't go wrong for $70 a case.
I'll use them for my close range finish locations so I could care less what the pattern is past 20y
Thanks for the heads up! I have used nitro steel for about 2 years now because it was the best pattern I found for my sbeII with the factory mod choke. Can’t beat the price either
I used to love the Sportsman 1 3/8 oz 3" load. Patterned well in both my 12's and the price was right.
