There was a thread about warm socks a while back and I posted that these are the socks I used, anyone interested I just talked to the lady who makes them, she sells to police departments and the like, anyone interested here you go.

Are these also made in Michigan or they just use fiber from the Michigan farm?

Do they make your feet itch? Some of the warmest socks I ever wore made my feet itch so bad I couldn't wear them without wearing a thin liner underneath.

They don’t make my feet itch, they only retain the heat better than any other sock I have tried, over time anyone’s feet will get cold no matter what you put on them if your sitting in the deer woods long enough, I my opinion alpaca retains what warmth your feet have the longest.

Ya that’s bad, I wear a wool wind blocker sweater, I wash everything on gentle and hang to dry.

My father bought me a pair and they are awesome. I take them off as soon as I am out of the woods to prevent wearing them out as they are not cheap. First year wearing them and my toes are normally the first thing to go. Not this year.
